Opening of the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater
We were given the trust to open, after a long renovation, one of the main theatrical stages of the world — the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater. The gala concert was created in collaboration with the outstanding opera director Dmitri Tcherniakov. The large-scale program was made simultaneously as a stage action for a live audience and as a TV show — the grand opening was broadcast in 150 cinemas around the world. This grand production, illustrating a journey through the history of the Bolshoi Theatre, showcased the technical excellence of the renovated stage. The gala concert was attended by Bolshoi Theatre artists and recognised international stars: Angela Gheorghiu, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Natalie Dessay, Violeta Urmana.
