Developing the renovation project of the Bakhrushin Museum Complex, we proposed an innovative approach to how a modern theatre museum can be. Traditionally, memorial expositions exhibit a preserved historical interior, and all information is presented in the text. Our concept was to extend the audience's perception by delicately integrating media technologies. Museum guests were invited to make a journey into the history of theatre art, overcoming historical distance through a sensual and emotional experience — the space literally "came to life" together with its former owners. Video mapping, holographic technology, kinetic installations and dynamic objects make learning really exciting.
